MY OVERALL REVIEW:
TRYLIFIC=Trylle Trilogy + Terrific. Yes, I did just make that word up. Yes, I do that pretty often. In fact, one of my all-time favorite words is trafficky. Trafficky is defined as extreme traffic congestion; example in a sentence, “I would go to the store for you but it’s too trafficky.” Okay, enough on that tangent and back to where I was…Switched, Torn & Ascend, the three books that complete the Trylle trilogy by Amanda Hocking, are FREAKING TRYLIFIC!
If you haven’t already figured it out, I truly enjoyed the Trylle trilogy. It is an amazing find at a great low price. (WOW! That sounded like a cheesy voice-over that you’d hear on the radio advertising automobiles). But seriously, you can read this entire trilogy for only $6.97 on your e-reader.
I really appreciated how, even though the world of Trylle is make-believe, this series highlights many issues young adults face in today’s real world. Hocking delivers insightful and realistic perspective on falling in love for the first time, having your heart broken, discovering how to fit in, finding your place in life, dealing with an overprotective brother, standing up for yourself, and having to choose between doing what is “right” and what makes you happy.
Amanda Hocking, you amaze me! Thank you for creating such an original, well-thought-out story. I was captivated by your creativity and your remarkably well-rounded characters. (I wish I could spend a day inside your mind-how interesting it must be).
I gave the Trylle trilogy 4 STARS because it rocks! I strongly recommend putting this trilogy at the top of your to-read list.
PS: All I want for Christmas this year is Persuasion (a form of mind control). If anyone could help me out with this request I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks ;)
