"Done with being the world's biggest pushover, Haley decides that things are going to change starting with the aggravating neighbor who has too much charm and not enough restraint. What she didn't expect was to sucked into his world, but Haley has a game plan and she won't let herself forget just what the bad boy next door is capable of. The last thing Jason expected was for his little shy neighbor to go Rambo on him over some ruined flowers. After he decides to take her under his wing he can't help but that notice that she fits very nicely in his life. Now the only left is to convince her that this is anything but a game."
MY REVIEW:
I did not want this story to end!
Playing for Keeps (A
Neighbor from Hell #1) by R.L. Mathewson was a sweet and comical adult romance
novel. The fresh and entertaining storyline was easy to get wrapped up in. The
characters unique quirks added humor and set this novel apart. Jason’s crazy
obsession with food and Haley’s fist of fury cracked me up.
Jason and Haley’s journey from enemies to lovers was just
plain precious! I loved how Mathewson showed readers gradual developments in
their relationship: enemies to buddies to best friends to lovers.
As soon as this story ended, I bought Perfection (A Neighbor from Hell #2).
I gave Playing for
Keeps by R.L. Mathewson 4 STARS. I can’t wait to read more by Ms. Mathewson.
Her style is original and enjoyable.
