"He may have given her up without a fight, but Sawyer Vincent is far from over losing the girl he’s loved all of his life. Instead of giving up his best friend and the girl he thought he’d spend forever with, he gave Ashton and his brother Beau his blessing. However, adjusting to seeing Ashton wrapped up in Beau’s arms isn’t easy. Complicating everything even more, Ashton’s cousin Lana is in town for the summer. Sweet, kind, soft-spoken Lana, who gets under his skin. Just being near her makes him forget all about Ashton and his broken heart. Lana is everything he wanted Ashton to be except she isn’t Ashton. She lacks the backbone to stand up for herself and confidence that Ashton wears like a crown.

Lana McDaniel has lived her life in her cousin's shadow. While Lana struggled with her grades no matter how hard she tried, her mother praised Ashton's intelligence. She hadn’t been blessed with Ashton’s blond hair and flawless skin, but that didn't keep her mother from lamenting her naturally red hair and freckles. But none of that would have mattered if Ashton hadn’t always had Sawyer Vincent wrapped around her finger -- the only boy Lana wanted. Once Ashton let Sawyer go, Lana had been so sure that he’d move on. Determined to make Sawyer finally see her, she'd talked her mother into letting her spend the summer with Ashton. But Sawyer is still in love with Ashton, and Lana isn’t going to be anyone's rebound girl. No matter how yummy Sawyer Vincent’s kisses taste."

MY REVIEW:
The characters from The Vincent Boys are back and even better than before in The Vincent Brothers!  Abbi Glines, you seriously rock!
"When I'm with you, my world is complete. When I touch you, I understand the meaning of life. When I lost you, I completely shattered. You. Own. Me."  - The Vincent Brothers
The Vincent Brothers, the second novel in The Vincent Boys series by Abbi Glines, was a sexy, hilarious romance novel for mature young adults. I really liked The Vincent Boys (The Vincent Boys #1), but I must admit, I liked The Vincent Brothers (The Vincent Boys #2) even more!

The Vincent Brothers was a FUN story with an unexpected splash of OMG HOT!  I say "unexpected" because Sawyer and Lana were both very inexperienced at the beginning of this novel.  Lana had never been on a date. And even though Sawyer dated Ashton for years, he had never moved past first base. You might assume that Lana and Sawyer would be pretty dull together since they are both so prudish proper controlled.  Well, you would assume wrong. Put those two in a room together and you better get the fire extinguisher out!  They were seriously hot together!  I have no freaking clue where the super sexy Sawyer came from, but I am so not complaining.

In this novel, Abbi Glines explores some of the harder decisions that young adults face when dealing with relationships, friendships, letting go, and moving on.

One of my favorite things about this series is the characters.  I absolutely adore Ashton, Beau, Sawyer, and Lana!  They talk, think, and behave like teenagers. The characters in this series are extremely life-like, their problems are easy to relate to, and they have a depth to them that you don't find in many young adult novels. Ms. Glines does a great job capturing the true essence of young adults.

I love all of the pop culture references in this novel!  Here's my favorite!
"I so, think I need to move to Hollywood. I'd be brilliant on the big screen. Or maybe just a CW show...oooooh. I could be on Vampire Diaries and lure Damon away from his infatuation from Elena. Then I could do one of those naked scenes he likes to do so much." - Jewel from The Vincent Brothers
I gave The Vincent Brothers (The Vincent Boys #2) by Abbi Glines 4 STARS.  The Vincent Brothers was a hot experience!  This novel got me all worked up and left me perfectly satisfied.  I strongly recommend The Vincent Brothers to mature young adults who are looking for a realistic, laugh-out-loud romance novel.

PS: Don't forget to read The Vincent Boys first!

PRUDISH PROPER! That's hilarious.
Fantastic review. You've made me want to read this book even more. I wasn't a fan of Sawyer in the first book, but I have a feeling I'm going to absolutely love him in this one!
